The Maine Wedding Vendor Network: A Wealth of Talent!

Back in mid-September I was extended a lovely invitation to participate in a November Wedding Vendor Networking event by Maria Northcott of A Sweet Start. I could barely contain my excitement at the opportunity to be in a room with the many talented individuals that make up the Maine wedding industry. I immediately responded to the email and within 12 hours had signed up with anticipation of the event in November.

As a participating vendor, I was given the opportunity to contribute my paper and calligraphy skills to the materials needed for the event such as food labels, table cards, calligraphy signs, a custom stationery suite and an “I Spy” game-board.  Maria continued to curate a stellar group of Maine wedding vendors from across our state to form the #MeetinghouseMeetup group. Below is a list of all the people I had the opportunity to work with for the event.

Before the evening started, we spent the day doing a stylized photography shoot with Courtney of Courtney Elizabeth Media and Megan of Field. The process of working with Megan on a wedding invitation design and color palette was fun and organic. Our location, First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church of Portland, was intimate with old world charm. The combination of the cascading florals, tablescapes, twinkle lights, candles, vintage furniture, and food led to an amazing evening for all. These photos don’t do the event justice but I will be sure to share the stylized photo shoot photography from Courtney soon!
